DESCRIPTION

Thread is a single-player simulation game where you pose as a worker making sustainable clothing. You cut fabric out into different clothing shapes and recycle the excess. Stitch them into full articles of clothing and sell them for money. As you progress, you can afford better materials for more types of clothing. These better materials are more expensive, but are better for the environment so sell for more. Cut and stitch the world on a path for sustainable clothing!

Also can't beat the tutorial... Cut the shirt and there's no other pop-ups.

The pop-up after cutting the first layer has a next button, and sometimes it can be clicked without realizing it! Cut another layer and that might help continue. Let me know if there's anything else!

Game seems very fun but I can't seem to sell the tutorial shirt...? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I've clicked "sell" and tried dragging shirt down to "sell" and neither works. Help?

Hey! Did you stitch together the entire shirt with two layers of fabric or just cut one layer? Sometimes the tutorial pop-up telling to cut the next layer will get clicked without being read. Let us know for anything more.

Oh, I see! The tutorial wasn't clear that I would have to do that, lol.

I went back to the game to play it with this knowledge, and it seems to be working. Thanks!

Thank you for replying btw :) And sorry mine took so long to get back to you!

Soft lock bug - Picked a task following the tutorial, made the shirt and as soon as the sewing was complete the shirt disappeared from the interface.  Not enough money to buy anything, no shirt to sell, unable to proceed.

When restarting a day money stays the same instead of going back to what you had before

this. category: game-breaking bug.

Our apologies! Patch is in progress and should be up soon.

This game is crazy 😧 😧

Truly an inspiration

cant get past the tutorial as i cant cut the shirt properly

Seems like it'd be very comfy, but softlocked the game twice during the tutorial:

If you accidentally misclick and close the fabric buying window without buying two cotton sheets, you're not allowed to reopen it

My arm twitched a bit right as I finished cutting the first sheet, which seemed to break everything (seems it's known, though)

Thought every tutorial bug was found but it seems not, thank you! Looking to try to have it fixed today.

Heh, those bugs are always hard to catch, because you're so used to clicking through the tutorial in the proper way, you don't ever end up missing buttons or flubbing movements!

A few things:

While cutting, partially or massively incorrectly cutting a fabric seems to softlock the game, making it impossible to progress. Can't access settings while the scissors are out.

It seems like right clicking to cancel actions is a lie; I cannot cancel cutting or stitching.

Strangely, it seems like you can sell stuff at a loss? Had a cotton T-shirt request ($20 in materials) in which its max profit was $15. Is this on purpose?

The tasks are given out at random, which means sometimes all of the materials x2 are not something you can buy.

We apologize for any inconvenience while playing and hope to have your issues addressed by today (very appreciated and important issues, so thank you!) Hope you still enjoyed what you could!
